March 20, 2026 - Harvest Manitoba

Once every two weeks, dedicated volunteers run a distribution location at NKMC for our neighbors experiencing food insecurity. Below is a list of Staple Foods Harvest MB can never get enough of. When you shop, pick up one for you and one for Harvest. Place your donation in the yellow bin in the foyer of the church any time!

Here are the top 10 food Harvest needs most:

Canned Fruit
Canned Soup/Stew
Canned Tuna
Canned Vegetables
Pasta
Pasta Sauce
Rice
Peanut Butter
Baby Formula/Food
Instant Oatmeal

MARCH 28, 2026

The NKMC SEW MUCH FUN Club will offer free beginner sewing lessons starting on Saturday March 28 from 1 - 4 pm in the upstairs Fellowship Room. Students ages 7 - adult are invited to register in back foyer. Alternate date / next date Saturday April 11. Sewing machine provided if you don’t have one.

First project: easy lined drawstring backpack ( all materials included)
